Final reflection!!

 Hey guys!! I'm so happy and sad at the same time. I can't believe I am finally finished with this portfolio project. It feels like just yesterday I was just starting and figuring out what I wanted to do for my film. We have come a long way, and I am so excited to share my final results with you. 

Although at times it was a struggle, having to work by myself, I learned a lot of skills and valuable things. 

I've learned how to edit, film, and direct, which is pretty crazy knowing I had no idea how to do any of that before. 

From going to not knowing what I was doing to completing a full film opening and CCR presentation, I'd say I've done a pretty good job considering my circumstances. 

In the beginning of the film and the production of the film, I had a lot of issues, such as the camera not recording half of the scenes or STRUGGLING to get the clips of the film from the camera imported onto my computer. But I was able to make it work. 

I also struggled with having to redo my whole film because of missing scenes and terrible shots. Which was a hassle trying to fit everyone's schedule to where we could find a time to film. 

But there were also good times, like the amount of laughs and skills I learned. 

I learned more about cameras and the shots, like how to show emotion with different angles. I was able to direct my characters to create a more realistic film and make the characters feel like they were actual people. 

I also learned how to edit videos; although using CapCut, I was still able to learn some skills on editing, like what lighting makes the films look more realistic and fitting. Or how to make the shots lined up right. I also learned how to add text and sound to add to the film. 

I think overall this project has helped me learn and grow in different ways as a person and a student. I am so grateful I was able to be apart of this and be able to document my experience.
